Lao puts its words in the order English does: the one acting, the action, the thing acted upon. Nothing changes shape. The verb ກິນ is ກິນ whoever eats, whenever they ate, however many of them there are.
That is the good news this whole module exists to deliver. Lao has no conjugation, no plurals, no grammatical gender, no articles, and no case. A learner can build a correct sentence on the first day.
