Questions — sentence-final particles
ເນື້ອໃນທີ່ຂຽນຂຶ້ນ · Authored content
The dictionary holds no grammar data. This lesson is drafted to establish the layout; the Lao below carries its provenance, and everything marked composed awaits review by a Lao linguist before it ships.
Lao questions require zero subject-verb inversion. You take a normal statement and add a questioning particle at the end.
For yes/no questions: append ບໍ່ (*bo* with rising tone) or conversational ຫວາ (*wa*). For question words (ໃຜ = who, ຫຍັງ = what, ຢູ່ໃສ = where), keep them in their natural noun slot.
