A bird with long yellow legs, speckled wings, that forages on the ground; in folklore, it sleeps on its back to avoid the sky falling on its eggs. Called ນົກຕອງແຕ້, also ນົກແຕບແຕ້ or ນົກແຕດແຕ້.
